Job summary

Endeavor Health's Swedish Hospital in Chicago is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support the Outpatient Surgery Department during daytime hours. You will assist with nursing care for patients undergoing procedures and help ensure smooth scope and instrument turnover.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality. Prior hospital or surgical tech experience is preferred, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• CPR BLS through American Heart Association.
• One year hospital experience preferred; CNAs or Surgical Technicians preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assists with nursing care for patients undergoing procedures in the OPS.
• Performs processing of instruments and equipment to ensure prompt, safe re-use.
