Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient Surgery Department at Glenbrook Hospital in Illinois. This full-time role offers a 7am–5:30pm schedule on weekdays with call requirements including evenings and weekends. Floating travel to nearby locations may be required.

You will assist with nursing care during procedures and ensure instrument processing for prompt safe reuse. Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR BLS, and preferred hospital experience, CNA or

Hourly Pay Range:

$20.69 - $30.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse

• Location: Glenbrook Hospital

• Full time

• Hours:

  • Schedule: Availability from 7am-5:30pm M-F with call requirements (PMs, Nights and weekends included)

• Travel:

  • Floating Locations 1-2 times per month: (Highland Park, Skokie and Evanston Hospitals)

What you will do:

Assists with providing nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the Outpatient Surgery Department. Performs processing of instruments and equipment in OPS to assure prompt and safe re-use.

What you will need:

• Education:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent

• Certification:

  • CPR BLS through American Heart Association

• Experience:

  • Must satisfactorily complete a planned orientation program at Swedish Covenant Hospital

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to interact effectively with others

  • Ability to observe and report accurately

  • Technical ability for handling specialized instrumentation and equipment

  • Ability to handle confidentiality appropriately

  • One year of hospital experience or equivalent experience preferred

  • Certified Nursing Assistant or Surgical Technician preferred
