Job summary

Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist with endoscopy procedures under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. You will provide basic patient care, maintain sterile technique, and prepare equipment to support safe, efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 years experience; PCA preferred.
• Basic patient care skills; familiarity with endoscopy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care procedures under the direct supervision of the registered nurse.
• Provides a safe, efficient and supportive environment for the endoscopy patient.
• Applies the principles of asepsis to provide optimum patient care.
• Prepares and knows specific uses of all equipment and supplies used for endoscopy procedures.
• Transports or accompanies patients to/from other hospital departments as needed.
