Job summary

Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join our Bronchoscopy Endoscopy team. You will assist with endoscope reprocessing, patient transport, and support for complex procedures such as bronchoscopy and EGD.

You will work a day shift, 40 hours weekly, with a focus on safety, infection control, and teamwork. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to advance within the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in endoscopy environment or health care facility; infection control knowledge preferred.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required within 60 days (AHA and ARC).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disinfect, assemble, process and distribute patient care instruments, equipment and supplies in line with policy.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients and health care team to ensure continuity of services.
• Act as a role model and resource to peers and other members of the health care team.
• Assist physicians and operate as endoscopy assistant when required.
