Schedule:

40 Hours, Days/Evenings, 8am-4:30pm, On-Call Required (Eves/Nights, Weekends, Holidays), Full-Time, Benefit Eligible

Position Summary

The Endoscopy Technician acts as the primary assistant during endoscopy procedures, supporting the Endoscopist in caring for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

1. Provide care tailored to age-specific needs from infants to the elderly.
2. Adapt care for impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, language barriers, and abuse victims.
3. Integrate knowledge of patient rights, organizational values, mission, ethics, and responsibilities into job duties.
4. On-call required.

Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 2-3 years of relevant experience.
3. CPR certification.
4. Knowledge of scopes in the upper and lower GI tract and experience working with GI physicians.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive environment to ensure patient satisfaction.
