Job summary

BMC Company 100 in Brockton, MA seeks an Endoscopy Technician to support the Endoscopy team. You will assist the Endoscopist during procedures, participate in scope processing, and ensure high-level disinfection with strict protocols. The schedule is 40 hours weekly, 7am-3:30pm, with on-call duties.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, BLS certification, 2–3 years of GI experience, and strong interpersonal skills to work with a multi-disciplinary team and diverse patient populations.

Position Summary:

The Endoscopy Technician acts as the primary assistant at the field, assisting the Endoscopist performing the endoscopy procedure on patients of all ages. Scope reprocessing and use of high-level disinfectants.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly.
• Customizes to a variety of needs specific to impairments, such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse.
• Incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our value statement, mission statement, code of ethics, and patient responsibilities into the performance of job responsibilities.
• On-call required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge + Skills: Must have working knowledge with scopes in the upper and lower GI tact and experience working with GI Physician. Exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to perform as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, instilling a positive cohesive spirit to ensure customer satisfaction.

Compensation Range:

$20.25- $30.10 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
