Job summary

Hannibal Regional is seeking an Endoscopy Support Technician to provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care under direct supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including obtaining tissue biopsies, and ensure endoscopes and accessories are maintained in working order with preventative maintenance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent (an Associate degree is preferred) and prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Organizational skills.
• BLS required.
• Ability to greet and serve visitors in a manner conducive to positive customer relations.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills with physicians and ancillary departments.
