Swedish Hospital in Arlington Heights is seeking an Endo Tech to support the endoscopy team. This part-time role offers 28 hours per week with hours 7am-5pm M-F and rotating Saturdays, including call requirements.

You will assist physicians by preparing rooms, handling equipment and specimens, and providing technical support under supervision. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification, and at least six months of patient-care experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification by American Heart Association.
• Minimum of six months experience in a patient care setting required.
• CNA, EMT, MA or nursing program enrollment preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide equipment and specimen handling support for endoscopy procedures.

Hourly Pay Range:

$21.10 - $30.60 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Endo Tech
• Location: Arlington Heights
• Part Time/ 28 hrs/wk
• Hours: 7am - 5pm M-F with rotating Saturdays and call requirements (including weekends, nights and holidays)

What you will do:

Reporting to the Endoscopy Manager, provides equipment, specimen handling, and other technical support to assist the physicians in performing general endoscopy procedures. Responsible for room set up prior to procedures and clean up following procedures. The Endoscopy Technician I works under the direction and supervision of the MD or RN.

What you will need:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Certification: CPR BLS issues by American Heart Association
• Experience: Minimum of six months experience working in a patient care setting required. CNA, EMT, MA or Surgical Tech or current enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program preferred.
