The Center for GI Health in Altoona, PA is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support case preparation, patient prep, and instrument handling. The role includes assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures and anticipating physician needs.
Responsibilities include room setup, equipment care, specimen processing, and collaboration with nursing staff. Two or more years in surgical or endoscopy settings and GI experience are preferred.

Summary/Objective The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for case preparation, assisting with patient preparation, proper handling of instruments supplies and equipment, preparation of the room based upon the specific procedure and physician's preference, and anticipating the physician's needs.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
This job operates in a professional ambulatory surgery center environment, utilizing standard medical equipment.
The physical demands include standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
This is a full-time position, with an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday. No weekends are required.
No travel is expected for this position.
