Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is seeking a Full-Time GI Technician at the Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center. In this role, you will support physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures and ensure patient safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated longevity in past roles preferred.
• Previous experience as a GI Tech or Endoscopy Tech preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile processing and medical equipment handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with GI procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, ensuring proper function and sterilization.
• Support physicians and nurses.
• Monitor and assist patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Stock and organize supplies to ensure a well-prepared procedure room.
