Job summary

Ridge View Endoscopy Center in Lone Tree, Colorado, is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to assist with GI procedures under the supervision of a GI/Endoscopy nurse. You will help maintain a sanitary environment and support high standards of disinfection and preparation of the endoscopy unit.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program and GI tech experience; a valid BCLS certification is required. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
• One year GI Tech, PCT, MA or EMT experience preferred.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sanitary environment for patients.
• Demonstrate high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment.
• Prepare the endoscopy unit and ensure GI equipment availability.
• Clean treatment rooms between procedures and prep for next case.
• Assist in maintenance, labeling and handling of specimens.
• Identify specimens with the surgeon and pass to the circulating RN.
