Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to support day shift procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The role prepares procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies, and assists physicians and nurses during GI/endoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, maintaining documentation, managing supplies, and ensuring infection control and safety standards are met. CET preferred and BLS required or obtained within hire period.

Qualifications

• Experience in GI/endoscopy or procedural care preferred.
• Infection prevention and scope reprocessing standards knowledge.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within hire period.

Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures.
• Position and monitor patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and related instruments.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate procedure and equipment documentation.
• Manage inventory of endoscopy supplies and report shortages.
• Operate and troubleshoot basic endoscopy equipment.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient-centered care.
