Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to assist physicians during endoscopic procedures and to maintain equipment in the Endoscopy Department. The role includes patient care under RN supervision and performing clerical tasks to ensure smooth ambulatory and endoscopy operations.

Responsibilities include chart preparation, record keeping, and accurate charging of patients. A GED is required, and GI/OR Tech or CNA/MA training preferred; BCLS certification is required upon

Responsibilities

• Assists physician in endoscopic procedures.
• Maintains and disinfects endoscopy equipment per policy.
• Provides patient care under RN direction.
• Performs clerical duties to support ambulatory care and endoscopy.
• Assembles and maintains patient chart materials; maintains records.
• Completes charges for patients.
