Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia, is seeking an Endoscopy Tech for PRN shifts. The role supports physicians during endoscopic procedures, maintains Endoscopy Department supplies and equipment, and ensures patient care under RN direction.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with GI/OR or CNA/MA program completion preferred. BLS certification required upon hire. No prior experience required for this PRN position.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• GI/OR Technology program preferred.
• CNA/MA program preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Current AHA BLS Certification Upon Hire Required

Responsabilités

• Assist the physician in the performance of endoscopic procedures.
• Maintains supplies and equipment in the Endoscopy Department in proper working order.
• Cleans and disinfects equipment according to unit and hospital policy.
• Provides appropriate patient care to the Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy patient under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Performs clerical duties as necessary to assure optimal function of Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy.
• Assemble and maintain patient chart material, maintain records and files, maintain order, cleanliness of the workstation.
• Completes charges for patients.

Formation

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Graduate of GI/OR Technology program Preferred

Graduate of CNA/MA program Preferred
