Job summary

Liberty Endoscopy Center is seeking a Full-Time Endoscopy Technician to join our team. The Endoscopy Tech assists during procedures, arranges sterile setup, moves patients, and supports care to meet patient outcomes under the direction of the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy Technician role supporting endoscopy team.
• Full-Time position at Liberty Endoscopy Center.

Responsibilities

• Perform all nursing duties in accordance with the state Nursing Practice Act, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.
• Actively demonstrate a working knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, principles, and practice in order to care for the patient.
• Perform routine nursing care using age-specific and universal precautions; monitor progress and respond to changes for patient safety.
• Assist physicians and clinicians; provide complete reports on patient status during procedures.
• Communicate with all staff, patients, and families with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Seek ongoing education to broaden knowledge of ages, diseases, and best practices.
• Collaborates with the Infection Control Committee in preventing and identifying potential infections.
• Supports and demonstrates continuous improvement of quality and service excellence.
• May perform other tasks as assigned.
