Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in care, handling, processing and storage of endoscopes and accessory equipment.
• Maintains meticulous reprocessing records and logs.
• Applies infection control principles in a knowledgeable manner.
• Assists in organizing and coordinating supplies and equipment to maintain an efficient and cost effective department.
• Maintains separation of dirty and clean.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are available and ready for use.
• Other duties as assigned including, but not limited to, rooming patients, transporting patients, and cleaning prep/recovery bays.
