Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Endoscopy Technician or sterile processing program preferred.
• 0-2 years healthcare experience required; 1-3 years endoscopy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with infection control and aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and set up equipment for endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physician and team with patient positioning during procedures.
• Clean, decontaminate, and high-level disinfect endoscopes per guidelines.
• Troubleshoot endoscope issues to minimize procedural delays.
• Document specimens, labels, and procedures accurately.
• Monitor inventory and remove expired items as needed.
• Maintain records for quality control and decontamination activities.
• Support scheduling, preoperative calls, and medical record organization.
• Transport patients and supplies to maintain procedure readiness.
