Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Endoscopy Tech (Part-Time) in Las Vegas, Nevada. You will assist GI/endoscopy procedures under the supervision of a GI/Endoscopy Nurse, ensuring a sanitary environment and proper disinfection of equipment.

The role includes preparing units, stocking GI supplies, and aiding in specimen handling. Minimum requirements include graduation from a Surgical Technology program, 1 year acute care experience, and valid BCLS certification. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
• One-year acute care experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable)

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sanitary environment for your patient
• Demonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment
• Prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies
• Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case
• Assist in the maintenance, care and labeling of specimens
• Identify specimen with the surgeon and pass to the circulating RN

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Endoscopy Tech, under the direction of a GI/Endoscopy Nurse, you will contribute to the company’s mission and vision by assisting with the care of patients undergoing GI/Endoscopy procedures.
