Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an Endo Tech to support the Endoscopy Lab and patient care in Aiken, SC. The role involves assisting physicians, preparing instruments, and ensuring sterile technique in a busy hospital setting.

Under RN supervision, you will transport patients, maintain supplies, and help with discharge prep. This full-time role offers weekday hours and opportunities for professional development within UHS.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• 1 - 2 years experience in an acute care hospital, preferred.
• Current BLS certification. GI Tech certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Endoscopy Lab by setting up procedures and supplies.
• Assist physician during Endoscopy; collect, label and transport specimens.
• Transport patients and assist in recovery/prep area.
• Maintain aseptic technique and equipment safety.
• Schedule Endoscopy appointments and manage supplies.

Skills

Basic medical terminology

BLS certification

Education

High School Diploma

GI Technical Specialist (GTS) certification preferred

Operating Room Technician training or equivalent
