Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. at Aiken Regional Medical Centers in South Carolina invites an Endo Tech to support the Endoscopy Lab, assist the physician during procedures and prep areas, and maintain supplies and equipment.

You will transport patients, record vitals, reinforce patient education, and help with discharge planning while ensuring asepsis and safety in a fast-paced hospital setting. This full-time, weekday schedule includes on-call duties and a focus on teamwork under RN

Qualifications

• High School Graduate with basic medical terminology knowledge.
• 1-2 years hospital experience preferred, acute care setting.
• Current BLS certification; GI tech certification preferred.
• Graduate of an OR tech course or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up for endoscopic and minor procedures with aseptic technique.
• Assists physician during procedures and collects specimens.
• Transports patients and ensures correct area assignment.
• Operates equipment safely and reports malfunctions.
• Maintains supplies and inventory for the Endoscopy Lab.
