Job summary

The Endoscopy Technician II will assist with admissions and discharges, support endoscopic procedures for adults and pediatric patients, and ensure high-level disinfection, while serving as a preceptor to others.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required at hire.
• Preferred: Gastrointestinal Technician Specialist Certification.
• Preferred: 1 year Endoscopy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge of patients from the holding unit to ensure a safe environment and quality care.
• Support endoscopic procedures for adults and pediatric patients in all hospital settings; act as preceptor to others.
• Maintain high-level disinfection and infection control standards.
