This role serves as a preceptor to teammates, helps uphold patient safety, and contributes to Providence's commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care across our hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS certification required at hire.
• GI Technician Specialist Certification preferred.
• 1 year Endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the admission and discharge of patients from the holding unit.
• Assist the RN with endoscopic procedures for adults and pediatric patients.
• Maintain complete understanding and knowledge of high-level disinfection.
• Provide high-quality technical skills under the supervision of the Department Manager.
