Job summary

No endoscopy experience is required; completion of 2-day system endoscopy education within 30 days of hire is expected, along with required BLS and SGNA certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No endoscopy experience is required; 2-day system endoscopy education within 30 days of hire is required.
• All certifications are required upon hire: BLS and SGNA GI Tech Specialist or provisional within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians in endoscopy procedures.
• Prepare procedure room and sterile field; gather instruments and supplies.
• Operate and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment during procedures.
• Transport patients and equipment; stock and maintain supplies.
• Maintain infection control and document competencies.
