Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• SGNA Associates Program is preferred.
• 1 year GI experience is preferred.
• 6 months direct patient care or endoscopy experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and registered nurses during endoscopic and pulmonary procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms according to requirements and perform safety checks on equipment; troubleshoot issues with endoscopes and devices.
• Clean, disinfect, and calibrate scopes or endoscopic instruments; collect specimens and monitor vital signs with monitoring equipment.
