Job summary

HonorHealth in Deer Valley, Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist physicians and nurses during interventional and general GI and pulmonary endoscopy procedures. The role focuses on technical support, room preparation, safety checks, and specimen handling.

The position requires 2 years direct patient care or endoscopy experience, 1 year endoscopy with ERCP preferred, and a current BLS certification. High school diploma or GED is required, SGNA training is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years Direct patient care experience or endoscopy experience
• 1 year General Endoscopy experience with ERCP Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• SGNA Associates Program preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and RNs during advanced interventional and general endoscopy procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure equipment safety and functionality.
• Disinfect, calibrate scopes and assist with specimen collection and monitoring during procedures.
