Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support endoscopy procedures and scope care. The role focuses on setting up and turning over cases, maintaining a sterile field, and following aseptic techniques and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include equipment care, inventory, and compliance with OSHA regulations. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be eligible for related training; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Endoscopy or OR experience preferred.
• Completion of a certified patient care technician/nursing assistant program, certified OR technician program, or acceptable on the job training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopy procedures and scope care and handling.
• Set up and turnover assigned cases and maintain a sterile field.
• Adhere to OSHA, SNGA and other regulatory standards and infection control policies.
• Perform care of equipment/instruments, supplies, stocking and inventory as needed.
