Job summary

Qualifications

• Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Surgery experience.
• RN must hold or be eligible for a multi-state license via the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Complete education to obtain BSN within four years of hire.
• BLS within 14 days of hire; ACLS and PALS/ENPC required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology nursing care for adolescent and adult patients.
• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care, and coordinate with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
