Job summary

Regent Surgical Health in New Jersey is seeking an Endoscopy Scope Technician to support the surgeon, endoscopy nurse, and anesthesiologist in the procedure room. You will prepare and maintain instruments and endoscopes, calibrate equipment, and assist with case setup and breakdown according to facility standards.

Responsibilities include ensuring supplies and equipment are ready, coordinating with circulators, preserving specimens, and helping with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires working knowledge of intraoperative instrumentation and patient safety.
• Must be able to assist in setting up and breaking down endoscopic procedures.
• BLS certification and surgical technology training are required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments and equipment for endoscopy procedures.
• Calibrate endoscopes and related equipment according to facility standards.
• Assist RN circulator, set up and breakdown procedures, and restock supplies.
• Pass instruments to surgeon and assistant as appropriate.
• Maintain instrument integrity and cleanliness; clean/disinfect tables and surfaces.
