Summary
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling procedures and performing a variety of secretarial and statistical duties, logging daily activities, and answering phones as available. The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible to maintain constant communication with ordering offices to ensure no discrepancies exist in the electronic medical record system(s).
This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
This position reports to the Director, Perioperative Services and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Must be able to effectively interact appropriately to an individual's intellectual level and physical ability.: Does this position require Patient Care? No
Work within policy to create new medical records for patients as needed.
