Job summary

Atlantic Health in New Jersey is seeking a registered nurse with endoscopy experience to collaborate with physicians and care teams to treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. You will monitor patients, administer medications, maintain records, consult with healthcare providers, and educate patients.

Required: nursing degree and RN license, BLS; ACLS and PALS certifications; BSN preferred; 1+ year endoscopy experience (EGD, Colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate health care records and reports.
• Administers medications and monitors patients for side effects.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses and plans patient nursing care with the healthcare team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
