Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking an RN Specialist for the Endoscopy unit in Akron, OH. The position supports cross-functional care across endoscopy, OR, and radiology services, with start times around 7:00 a.m. and occasional on-call requirements.

The role requires a nursing degree (ADN/BSN), an Ohio RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least two years of nursing experience. Endoscopy experience is preferred. Relocation and tuition reimbursement benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state of Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS (with 6 months of hire).
• Two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing care of all patients in the Endoscopy unit.
• Delegate to non-professional staff within scope of practice.
• Cross-train and function in OR, Radiology, travel endoscopies, recovery, front desk, and decontamination/sterilization.
• Prepare patients for endoscopy procedures and monitor pre-op vitals.
• Complete accurate pre-op and post-op documentation and charting.
