Job summary

Southcoast Health invites an experienced RN to join the Endoscopy team at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This 24-hour shift role includes day hours with on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays) and provides leadership within the unit to ensure high-quality patient care close to home.

The ideal candidate holds MA RN licensure, BLS, and 3 months of experience in Endoscopy, Perioperative, or Critical Care. Vaccination is required or an approved exemption.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.
• Endo, Periop or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or eligible for exemption for medical/personal reasons by signing a statement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients in the assigned unit.
• Lead patient and family teaching and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within the unit.
