Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certificate on hire and maintained.
• ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Minimum 1 year experience in acute care or outpatient surgery or GI lab.
• Moderate Sedation competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect nursing care for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Communicate patient condition, test results, and changes with physicians and care team.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and ensure safe patient flow.
• Adhere to hospital policies, participate in performance improvement and unit meetings.
