Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy Unit (Pre/Post) on a full-time day shift. Schedule features five 8-hour shifts, 6:45am–4:15pm, Mon–Fri, with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Required RN degree with BSN/MSN preferred; BLS within 90 days and ACLS within 6 months. Endoscopy experience and 18 months procedural nursing preferred; OR/sterile settings experience valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Registered Nursing required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 18 months of procedural nursing experience preferred.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.
• Experience in OR or sterile settings preferred.
• Teamwork and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Support Endoscopy Unit patients with safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with gastroenterology team and maintain 1:3 nurse:patient ratio.
