Job summary

Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, Arizona, seeks an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team and deliver high‑quality endoscopic care in a patient‑focused environment.

You will provide nursing care before, during, and after procedures, with a 10‑hour shift schedule and on‑call coverage to support after‑hours needs. A current Arizona RN license and ADN are required; bachelor’s and master’s degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona or compact state RN license is required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's or Master’s degree is preferred.
• Active BCLS is required; ACLS and PALS are preferred; HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications are preferred.
• One year of experience in a similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Asists patients with activities of daily living.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• On Call Required. 30 minute response time.
