Northwell is seeking a Per Diem Professional Nurse at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, NY. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with adherence to standards of care. Per diem schedule includes varied days, 7 AM–5 PM.

The ideal candidate will hold a NYS RN license, with ACLS/BLS certification and Endoscopy RN or critical care experience preferred. Strong documentation and patient education skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse license.
• ACLS & BLS, highly preferred; Endoscopy RN experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient data and plan care with collaboration.
• Deliver and adapt nursing care to meet individual patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per policies; monitor effects.
• Document care and maintain Nursing Care Plan and Nurses Notes.
• Evaluate progress toward goals and adjust care as needed.
• Promote patient education and safety; involve family when appropriate.
