Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse (ENDO) for the First Shift in the Endoscopy Unit. The Endoscopy Unit delivers diagnostic and therapeutic GI/endoscopy procedures with patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, direct care, and supervision of support staff, with on-call weekends/holidays rotating. A Kentucky RN license and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by department.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.

The Endoscopy Unit is a specialized department within the hospital that focuses on performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using advanced endoscopic technology. This unit provides minimally invasive methods to examine and treat conditions affecting the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, respiratory system, and other internal structures. Its goal is to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a safe and efficient environment.
