Job summary

Charleston GI is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care on the Endoscopy Unit, following physician orders and established policies. Responsibilities include pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopy and InterStim procedures, and assisting with emergency measures as needed.

The outpatient center serves adolescents through geriatric patients, with over 90% aged 30 or older. You may supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff under the direction of Nursing leadership and collaborate

Qualifications

• At least one year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory and patient care.
• Ability to administer care according to policies and procedures.
• Ability to respond to emergencies calmly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care on the Endoscopy Unit.
• Initiate and assist with emergency measures as needed.
• Supervise licensed and unlicensed staff under Nursing leadership.
• Deliver patient care in an outpatient GI endoscopy center.
