Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, West Palm Beach, FL, seeks an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to deliver fundamental care, assess and plan, and coordinate care across the patient continuum. The RN administers medications and procedures per established policies and ensures patient education and satisfaction.

The role requires emergency-ready nursing licensure in the United States, BSN or ADN/ Diploma with possible bridge options, and active participation in quality

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved and accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
• Foreign nursing education requires degree equivalency validation.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing license in a US state/territory/DC.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, evidence-based nursing care for endoscopy patients.
• Coordinate patient education, self-management, and transitions of care.
• Administer medications and procedures per VA policies.
• Educate patients and families and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
