Job summary

Lowcountry Endoscopy Center is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to prepare patients, equipment, and room for Endoscopy procedures. You will assist physicians and maintain endoscopy nursing standards under physician direction.

Graduate nurses with SC licensure and ACLS/BLS are required, along with GI Endoscopy experience. Excellent terminology knowledge and a patient-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Endoscopy (GI) experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required per AHA.
• Experience with endoscope manipulation under physician direction.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed by the SC Board of Nursing.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment and room for Endoscopy procedures.
• Assist physicians with Endoscopy procedures.
• Maintain skills and knowledge of Endoscopy techniques and standards.
• Provide comprehensive endoscopy nursing care in line with policies.
