Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Virginia seeks a registered nurse to deliver compassionate patient care using the nursing process. You will collect data, identify priorities, plan and evaluate care, and coordinate patient teaching with the health team.

As part of a multidisciplinary team you will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications safely, and drive quality improvement initiatives while following hospital policies and state practice standards.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of practice (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred)
• Associate of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Develops and implements a plan of care.
• Administers medications safely per policy.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team and patient teaching.
• Acts as patient safety advocate and participates in quality improvement.
• Ensures documentation and care delivery align with standards.
