Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a registered nurse to provide intraoperative care in the Endoscopy Lab.

Under supervision of physicians and nursing leadership, you will perform assessments, document care, educate patients, and collaborate with the team. The role requires one year RN experience; GI/endoscopy preferred; Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS; full-time, day shift with rotating days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program.
• One year RN experience; GI Lab/Endoscopy preferred.
• Current Texas RN license; BLS and ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assess and document health status on admission and intraoperative phase.
• Interprets health data to plan and prioritize intraoperative care.
• Provide intraoperative nursing interventions and document care.
• Educate patients and families; ensure effective communication.
• Supervise and coordinate patient care assignments; delegate duties as appropriate.
