Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley in Utah seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team and coordinate patient care, advancing modern nursing through dedicated, patient-centered service.

You will apply the nursing process to promote safety, document clearly, educate patients and families, and advocate for rights and quality care in a mission-driven environment. Shift 7am-3pm.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment
• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
• Physical requirements: Medium Work, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene for optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection).
• Maintain accurate charts and documentation; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote, advocate, and protect patient health, safety, and rights.
• Educate patient/family based on learning readiness and needs.
