HCA Florida University Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to join the Endoscopy team in Florida. You will evaluate patients preoperatively, educate families, and prepare patients with IV therapy and medications.

You’ll participate in safety protocols and collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and techs to deliver high-quality perioperative care. The role requires an active RN license in Florida (or eligibility), ACLS/BCLS/PALS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of experience.

Competenze

• Registered Nurse with active licensure in Florida or eligible for licensure.
• ACLS/BCLS/PALS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred, endoscopy or perioperative exposure valued.

Mansioni

• Perform preoperative assessment and patient education.
• Prepare patient for surgery including IV therapy and medication administration.
• Collaborate with physicians and OR team to verify surgical site and safety protocols.
• Participate in time-out, briefing, debriefing and universal protocols.
• Monitor patient condition intraoperatively and respond to emergencies.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based perioperative nursing care.
