Job summary

Valley Health’s Endoscopy department seeks a Registered Nurse II to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting. The RN will perform the nursing process, coordinate care, and participate in quality and safety initiatives, while mentoring staff and supporting leadership initiatives.

The role requires an RN license and a BSN is preferred; a multi-state license or eligibility, BLS, and relevant certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Meets RN licensure requirements and maintains ongoing competency.
• BSN preferred; BSN not required for consideration.
• Competent in applying the nursing process and patient care planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate and communicate with the health care team to ensure quality care.
• Lead, mentor and participate in quality/safety initiatives and staff development.
