Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level and act as the primary nurse for patients on the unit. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, care coordination with other disciplines, and adherence to clinical standards across the hospital.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, safe administration of treatments, and effective communication during transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Diploma Program or an Associate's Degree is required or preferred BSN.
• Current BLS certification required for all areas of nursing practice.
• RN licensure required or multi-state license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates direct care following patient and family-centered care principles and nursing process.
• Safely administers prescribed treatments and medications based on assessments and plan of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks based on patient condition and workload; communicates changes in status.
