Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group in Greensboro, NC seeks a Clinic Endoscopy Assistant to escort discharged patients to their vehicles and support transport of items within the endoscopy unit. Under supervision, you assist with communication and logistics.

Responsibilities include answering calls, restocking supplies, aiding bed turnover, and delivering items around the hospital. Requires HS diploma; CPR/BLS certification; preferred 1 year hospital or healthcare support experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS (CPR) certification required: American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
• Preferred: 1 year of healthcare support experience.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate group or taking messages.
• Restocking and distributing supplies and equipment to prepare surgery rooms for incoming patients.
• Transports discharged patients from the hospital to personal vehicles in wheelchairs and helps them reach their transportation home.
• Supports increasing bed turnover to reduce wait times for incoming patients.
• Delivers items around the hospital to keep patient rooms stocked and organized.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
