Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Patient Care Partner for the Endoscopy area on a per diem basis. You will work with RNs and LPNs to provide direct patient care across all ages in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions and vital signs, assisting with mobility, hygiene, specimen collection, and basic clinical tasks. High school diploma or GED required; no prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lifting, turning, and positioning patients using Safe Patient Handling equipment (≥ 35 pounds).
• Observing confused and difficult patients.
• AM/PM hygiene care.
• Toileting, shaving, washing, brushing hair, dental and mouth care.
• Feeding.
• Assisting with range of motion exercises.
• Mobilizing patients—transfers and ambulation.
• Exercise protocols.
• Obtains samples and specimen collection (urine, stool, sputum).
• Completes EKGs.
• Glucose monitoring in non‑critical areas.
• Transports patients and equipment.
• Participates in patient safety and rounding.
• Answers call bells and communicates with nursing staff.
