Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Part-time Endoscopy Nursing Assistant to assist the RN in the Pre/Post area of Surgical Services. You will support patient comfort, mobility, hygiene, and safety during procedures and transfers.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, helping with meals, documenting inputs every two hours, and ensuring patient dignity. On-call coverage is required weeknights, weekends, and holidays by rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current KY Nurse Aide Certification, or completion of first year of Nursing program with clinical rotation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; must obtain within 30 days if not already held.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with patient needs in the Pre/Post area of the department.
• Transport outpatients in a wheelchair and inpatients as needed in wheelchair, stretcher or bed.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dental care, hair and nail care.
• Assist with bowel and bladder functions while maintaining dignity and recording input & output.
• Do not leave patients unattended when out of bed for bathroom assistance; help with dressing/undressing.
• Assist with lifting using manual or mechanical devices as directed by the nurse.
• Aid in feeding and nutritional support; assist with meal setup and feeding as necessary.
