Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; at least 1 year in a nursing specialty.
• Current RN license in state of employment or compact, with BLS.
• ACLS certification required.
• Onboarding, orientation and competency validation completed.
• Perioperative or operating room experience preferred.
• Ability to assess, educate, and adapt care to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor effectiveness and side effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers and assess learning needs.
• Delegate and assign tasks to care providers to manage clinical situations.
• Address patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Develop clinical skills, manage contingencies, and contribute to team leadership.
